I believe Beauty to be nothing but a simple necessity for comprehension of the World and that it can manifest itself in many different ways, including “ugly” ones. If something speaks to us (or with us), that thing is beautiful, because to speak is to take a small step towards reaching an understanding with our reality; and to reach that understanding with reality is an act of beauty, because comprehension and beauty exist in acts of liberation, never of constriction.
